Boys and Girls Club Holds Fundraiser
"Night Under the Stars" draws more than 100 supporters
More than 100 people showed up at the annual fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Forest. The event was held at the Hyundai Capital building. Dave Carter and Scott Herzog were among the event planners.
Those present included Council members Adam Nick, Dwight Robinson, Scott Voigts, and Dr. Jim Gardner. Former Mayor Peter Herzog and his wife Marta were also there, along with former Planning Commissioner Terry Anderson and his wife Kristie, former Parks Commissioner John Irish and his wife Rosalie, and former Parks Commissioner Steve Manning and his wife Patty. El Toro Water District board member Jose Vergara and his wife were also there.
Chamber of Commerce members and Kiwanis members included Margie Matsil, Rick Lancaster, Elizabeth Smith, Elaine Pong, Gary Kreitz, Shelley Carter, Sally and Gary Sartor, Parisa Zarbafian, Cindy Frerking, Steve Pierce, and Stephen McGuirk.

Long time City advocates included Bob Holzclaw, Mary Altoff, Craig and Tracey Tingley.
No City staff was present at the event, nor were there any sitting Planning Commissioners.
