Burger King Break-In Thwarted Overnight, Two Arrested

Two were arrested after a late night robbery at an Orange County fast food restaurant, cops say, and additional suspects are on the loose.

ORANGE, CA — Two people were arrested Wednesday following a break-in at a fast food restaurant in the city of Orange. Police searched for additional suspects following the arrests. A police dog from the Anaheim Police Department was brought in to help in the search.

Officers initially responded to a Burger King restaurant in the 2600 block of Chapman Avenue and took two suspects into custody, according to Sgt. S. Jorgenson of the Orange Police Department.

While additional suspects remained outstanding, the exact number was not immediately available, he said.
Agents with the Los Angeles Inter-agency Metropolitan Police Apprehension Crime Task Force (L.A. IMPACT) were also involved in the arrests and told a videographer at the scene they had followed the suspects from Los Angeles County into Orange County, and the suspects may be part of a crew carrying out robberies in both counties.
