Burglary Suspect Found In Dumpster In Irvine, Police Say
The suspect was one of three men who were arrested Monday morning in a south Irvine neighborhood.

LAKE FOREST, CA — Three men were arrested Monday on charges of multiple crimes in Irvine, the Irvine Police Department reported.
Officers were dispatched to the Quail Hill area in south Irvine early Monday morning in response to reports of several men looking into vehicles in the neighborhood.
Upon arriving, officers detained two suspects who were near a motorcycle. Another man fled from officers on a second motorcycle and crashed near Sand Canyon Avenue and Quail Hills Parkway.

After the crash, he ran into the Quail Hill Shopping Center on foot.
Irvine Police officers set up a perimeter around the shopping center and soon found the man hiding in a dumpster.

Authorities found that both motorcycles the suspects were found with were stolen, and all three men were arrested.
They face charges including possession of stolen property, auto theft, possession of burglary tools and receiving stolen property, authorities said. They were not identified.
