Car Smashes Into El Toro Meats, Lake Forest
No, this isn't a drive-through meat market in Lake Forest. This unfortunate driver collided with a support pole of the popular shop.
LAKE FOREST, CA ā A Patch tipster shared this photo of a car just after it crashed into Lake Forest's El Toro Meats building Monday afternoon. For unknown reasons, the BMW crossover vehicle rammed forward from the parking area and into the corner of the popular market.
According to Orange County Sheriff's Department, the vehicle struck the hedge barrier and a post that holds the awning of the El Toro Gourmet Meats building.
"I don't think anyone is hurt, but (the crash) shook the building," Patch reader Martin Henderson told us. The car crashed through the shrubbery. A support pole was damaged in the crash as were a bevy of shopping carts.

The iconic red wood building is also home to Bigshots, a pool hall and bar, El Toro Gourmet Meats, and a marketing company.
The non-injury incident rattled the lunchtime crowd in and around the deli, but there were no injuries in the crash.
