Career Workshop Next Friday

Get advice and meet employers on June 29

The City of Lake Forest, OC One-Stop Center, and the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce are co-hosting a free Career Workshop on Friday, June 29, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Lake Forest City Hall. The Job Fair will feature employer booths from Lake Forest-based businesses including:

  • Herbalife
  • The Home Depot
  • Kawasaki
  • Jimmy John’s
  • Panasonic
  • Club Pilates
  • Sea Country Towing & Recovery
  • Ytel
  • Talent Strategies
  • City of Lake Forest

In addition, the workshop will include a panel discussion, featuring Human Resources directors and recruiting managers from some of the City’s top employers, including Ytel, Herbalife, and Talent Solutions. Panelists will share their expertise and insight on how job seekers can effectively market their skills for a successful career. Light breakfast refreshments will be served.

Last year we had great attendance (see photo). This can be a very valuable workshop for people looking for a job or making a career change.

Dr. Gardner has office hours every Tuesday from 4 pm to 6 pm at the City Hall. In addition, he holds a town hall meeting every quarter. The next meeting will be Aug 16 at 7 pm at the Lake 1 Clubhouse (Ridge Route).
