Carnival at Foothill Ranch Elementary Celebrates Year's End
From rock climbing walls to taekwondo, the end-of-the-year Fun Fest event was a bonanza of enjoyment.
From cake walks to gourmet food trucks, the Foothill Ranch Elementary School community came out in force Friday for the annual end-of-the-year Fun Fest.
More than 1,000 students, parents and community members attended Fun Fest, the celebratory carnival sponsored by Foothill Ranch’s Parent Teacher Association. Children scaled rock climbing walls, played inside giant inflatable “hamster balls,” practiced martial arts and posed for silly pictures in feather boas.
This year, organizers added an extra twist to the annual event, in addition to the carnival games and silent auction. They invited gourmet food trucks—peddling everything from crepes to tacos to ice cream—to turn Fun Fest into a fun feast as well.
