Chroma Systems Acquires East Coast Company, Expands Reach
The Lake Forest company announces the acquisition of QuadTech.

A Lake Forest-based company that manufactures and sells power-testing equipment has acquired an East Coast distributor of its products, it announced Thursday.
Chroma Systems Solutions, the North American unit of international industry leader Chroma, has acquired QuadTech, a Massachusetts-based provider of electrical safety equipment and systems.
Chroma, which bills itself as the "largest worldwide provider" of power-testing instruments and systems, said the move will benefit customers by boosting the company's product offerings, inventory and industry expertise.

According to a press release, the New England-based QuadTech will now operate under the Chroma brand, and be led by Chroma Systems Solutions’ President and Chief Executive Officer Fred Sabatine.
“We are pleased to announce our new partnership with QuadTech, a world renowned company with an excellent knowledge in the electrical safety test market,” Sabatine said in the release. “The two companies provide distinct areas of expertise and share many positive attributes, including maintaining a high standard of engineering knowledge with the sales teams and providing great customer care. We are confident this acquisition will contribute to our commitment to exceed customer expectations for cost-effective test equipment, service and support and allow Chroma to become better known at a wide range of new customers."
