CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS (Item 18)
A few weeks ago the Council voted on moving forward with establishing campaign contribution limits and regulations and these are coming back to us now in a formal ordinance to vote on. Click Here for the previous discussion.
TERM LIMITS (Item 17)
A few weeks ago the Council voted on moving forward with establishing real term limits and this ballot measure is coming back to us now in a formal ordinance to vote on.
Since that time I conducted an opinion poll on Lake Forest Town Square and over 70% of the people chose a 2 term limit. The second favorite was a 3 term limit (16%).
COUNCIL COMPENSATION (Item 16)
A few weeks ago the Council voted on moving forward with modifying council compensation and this ballot measure is coming back to us now in a formal ordinance to vote on. Click Here for the previous discussion.
CENSURE (Item 15)
The censure hearing for Councilman Voigts had to be postponed and has been re-scheduled for Tuesday night. Click Here for background information.
