The City wants your thoughts about the vision for the future of mixed-use zoning in Lake Forest. Mixed-Use zoning includes a blend of homes and commercial or industrial projects as well as shared open space. 

As part of the City of Lake Forest’s General Plan Update 2040, mixed-use land use designations were adopted. These new designations allow for a blend of residential and complementary retail, hotel, office, and/or industrial uses in key focus areas in the City. These mixed-use areas would offer walkable streets and vibrant open spaces and plazas along with diverse housing options for people to live, work, shop, and recreate. 

Your feedback will help the City shape specific requirements for these mixed-use designations.
