Strategic Plan Lays Out Path To Liveable, Engaged, Fiscally Sustainable City

LAKE FOREST, CA — The City of Lake Forest on Thursday released its Strategic Plan, intended to guide the City through the next seven fiscal years.

The plan, developed with guidance from the City Council, is focused on three long-range goals:

Over the next seven years, new residential communities in Lake Forest will be finished, and the City will transition from a developing community to a "maintenance city," City Manager Debra Rose explains in the Plan's introduction. That means a sustained focus on strategic investments in infrastructure and other municipal services that only the City can provide is required to ensure Lake Forest remains a beautiful and sustainable City.
