City Hosts Town Hall To Discuss Failed SVUSD School Proposal
The decision comes after the city held a town hall on Monday, Aug. 28, which addressed the community's concerns over the proposed school.
LAKE FOREST, CA — The city, along with representatives from Saddleback Valley Unified School District, gathered Monday, Aug. 28 to discuss a rejected proposal to develop an elementary school in the Meadows Residential Community.
According to Communications and Marketing Manager for the City of Lake Forest Jonathan Volzke, the meeting was held to allow residents of the Meadows community to voice concerns about the failed proposal.
Though the town hall meeting was held by the city, Volzke said the proposed elementary school was ultimately turned down by the SVUSD in March.
