Civic Center Breaks Ground

City's 100 Year Home Begins

Nearly 100 people came to the city's civic center ground breaking. Among the dignitaries were Senator John Moorlach and Representative Stephen Choi. Past council members Mark Tettemer and Helen Wilson joined the current Council in celebrating. Past City Manager Robert Dunek was also in attendance.

We are scheduled to open the civic center in Spring 2019. The center will cost slightly more than $72,000,000. In addition to the city hall we'll have a senior center, a performing arts center, council chambers (that doubles ironically as the performing arts center), and a police HQ.
