Coming Up at El Toro High: Football, Dances—and Classes

Tonight, the of the 2011-12 season.

On Wednesday, the Chargers—and not just those who play football—face a new school year.

Due to a furlough day, the school year begins Sept. 7.

That first short week will conclude Sept. 9 with a last summer hurrah—the Charger Mania Dance in the gym.

The party follows that evening's football game at versus El Modena. Students with an Associated Student Body card get into home games free. Otherwise, admission is $8.

Wearing blue and gold gets attendees $2 knocked off the $7 ticket price. The dance wraps up at 11 p.m.
