Disney Magic For Grammy's 90th Birthday
Minnie Mouse & the gang lifted the spirits of a 90-year-old grandmother during her birthday at Disneyland this week.
ANAHEIM, CA — A southern California grandmother took ill while visiting Disneyland resort with her grandchildren this week, and some characters brought her a little extra theme-park magic. San Bernardino resident Tracie Nicole was sharing her grandmother's 90th birthday at the park when "Grammy" went ill.
The day started out as most birthdays at the park do: happy birthday buttons and greeters sharing good wishes everywhere you go. Then, Grammy got sick, according to Nicole. Park paramedics quickly took the 90-year-old woman to the first aid for assistance and rest.
"She had very high blood pressure so she had to stay there for quite a while," Nicole told Patch. The room was comfortable for her aged grandmother, with a cot, pillows and blankets and ample time to recuperate. Unbeknownst to Nicole and the other guests present, Grammy's nurse worked a little Disney magic once the woman began feeling better.

The nurse called in a few Disney friends to come visit.
"Words cannot begin to describe how amazing this was!" Nicole said. "Seeing so many characters come to visit her and shower her with love was such a beautiful moment that we all will always remember and cherish forever! It was so special!"

Grammy perked up at the sight of Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto and Goofy will be forever cherished by the whole family, according to Nicole. She even had a special hug for Pluto.
