Disneyland Invests In Cast Member Dreams With Disney Aspire
Hourly and part-time Disneyland US cast members will be able to complete their educations, thanks to this groundbreaking program.
ANAHEIM, CA — You are never too old or too young to have a dream. For many hourly and part time cast members of the Disneyland Resort, that dream includes completing their education, or earning a professional certificate. Now, according to the resort, it is their chance to aspire to something more.
The Disneyland Resort has introduced a groundbreaking 100-percent paid tuition program they call "Disney Aspire." That program is an investment in their cast members, the resort has said.
Starting Fall of 2018, eligible U.S. based cast members who are hourly full time or part time employees will be able to apply for an "education investment program." According to the resort, there are 80,000 eligible cast members at Disneyland Resort properties across the United States who are invited to participate in this "No Strings Attached" education program.

Disney Aspire is designed with one thing in mind, "our hourly cast members," a resort spokesperson has said.
With an initial investment of $50 million and up to $25 million annually, Disney will pay for tuition upfront, making it even easier for cast members to take the first step toward developing their education and reaching toward a better future.

This program also gives Cast the opportunity to enroll in a variety of online courses across a network of schools, they said.
Disney Aspire applies to Bachelors and Masters level degrees, as well as various Certificate programs and Professional Development courses, along with helping a cast member who wants one to earn their GED.
"If there is anything our founder, Walt Disney, taught us, it’s that unrelenting curiosity and inquisitiveness can transform into magic… and it’s the magic that stems from his dream that our thousands of cast members carry out each and every day, spokesperson Thomas Smith wrote of the program. "Now it’s our turn to make their dreams come true."
Find out more soon, as additional information about the program is released.
