Donate Blood, Win Super Bowl Tickets This January In Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, CA — The need for blood continues all year long for the American Red Cross. This January, the American Red cross and NFL Football Hall of Fame player Peyton Manning are asking residents to "score big" for patients in need by giving blood.

Through the month of January, Lake Forest residents who donate blood will be automatically entered for a chance to win a trip to Super Bowl LVII in Arizona.

"If everyone does their part and we collectively commit to donating blood, we can stack up more wins for hospital patients who are counting on us," Manning said in a news release. "A single individual is certainly impactful, but a whole team of people coming together to donate has an even greater effect."

Here are a few blood drives happening in and around Lake Forest this January:

• Jan. 12, 2023 from noon to 6 p.m., Lake Forest Sports Park & Recreation Center, 28000 Rancho Parkway, Lake Forest.
• Jan. 25, 2023 from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Orange County Sheriff's Department Saddleback Station, 20202 Windrow, Lake Forest.
