ANAHEIM, CA — If you haven't visited Downtown Disney District since the reopening in early July, you may find things a bit different when you return.

To help guide guests through new health and safety measures, cast members from the Guest Experience Team strolling through the Downtown Disney District will explain guidelines to guests who may be confused.

"Along with other Downtown Disney District cast members, they will encourage everyone to follow these measures for the health and safety of all," the resort says.

Two new policies have banned:

  • Neck gaiters
  • Bandanas

Why? Because masks—in order to properly work—should fully cover your nose and mouth, enabling you to remain "hands-free" of your face.

Masks should also "fit snugly, but comfortably, against the side of the face and be secured with ties or ear loops."

If you're eating, feel free to remove your mask.
