Driver Slams Car Through South OC Home, Starting Fire
The car had apparently driven through the wall of an Irvine home just before the fire had started, Orange County firefighters say.

IRVINE, CA — Orange County firefighters tackled a two-story house fire that lit up shortly after a car crashed through the home's wall in Irvine Monday, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 9:24 p.m. in the 3800 block of Hamilton Street in Irvine.
According to the Orange County Fire Authority, upon arrival firefighters found a car that had crashed through a wall of the home.

The fire was quickly confined to the first floor by firefighters.
"The occupants of the vehicle exited before our arrival and were not on scene, and the residents of the home escaped uninjured," an OCFA statement read.
