El Toro Exchange Club had its first opening for the 2017-2018 School Year. The school based service club that works and runs 100% on donated items had it first opening today for the students of El Toro High School. Over 150 participants attended the lunch time event where they were able to select items for free. One students stated " I have been looking froward to this event for over a month. I knew they would have lots of things for me to choose from and so I did." another student stated" I am so happy because we have Homecoming this weekend and I needed a suit and I found one here that fits perfect. I love this club!" The previous members, current members of the club and advisor have been working throughout the month collecting, sorting, cleaning and organizing donations to make available for the students to come and shop for free at the lunch time school event. The club is now accepting donations for the November opening. The club needs clothes, accessories, shoes and school items. All donated items that do not get selected are given to the Village of Hope.
