UPDATE: El Toro Coach Resigns Over 'Philosophical Differences'
Girls water polo and boys swim coach Daniel "Racc" Julson has resigned his position at the high school.

The resignation of El Toro High School's girls water polo and boys swim coach, Daniel “Racc” Julson, is due to "philosophical differences," school Principal Allan Mucerino told Patch today.
"Coach Julson resigned as a result of philosophical differences as they related to the administration of the program," he wrote in an email.
Mucerino also said that previous reports that Julson was under "investigation" due to an unidentified "personnel issue" were inaccurate. A story on OCVarsity.com alleging that Julson was under investigation was updated today with the correct information.

"It was not the result of any investigation, as it was erroneously reported by at least one news outlet," Mucerino said.
Julson, a former Navy SEAL, has been head coach for the girls water polo team at El Toro since 2010.
