Here are some of the events coming up in September –

Sept 6 – Homelessness Roundtable (9 am to 11 am – MV Murray Center)

Sept 6 – Veterans Park meeting (6:30 pm – City Hall)

Come by and help design the new Veterans Park.

Public Safety Forum (7:30 am to 10 am – 39 Shady Canyon, Irvine)

Broad discussion of public safety issues.

Sept 9 – Town Hall meeting (2 to 4 pm – El Toro Library)

Our quarterly meeting. Your chance to ask questions and express your opinions.

Sept 11 – Get Safe Child Academy (6 to 7:30 pm – City Hall)

The Child Safety Academy is a great opportunity to teach K-6th graders about various safety topics, and is fun and interactive! The Academy is held on Monday evenings, starting September 11 - October 2. Click Here for more in formation

Sept 14 – Planning/Traffic Commission (7 pm – City Hall)

This is the place to come and share your concerns about the traffic and parking problems in the City.

Sept 15 – Ribbon Cutting Saddleback Strength and Conditioning (3 pm – 26923 Fuerte Drive)

Come by and help welcome them to our community.

Sept 16 – Ribbon Cutting Gateway Center (1o am – Gateway Center)

Sept 17 - Shop and Dine (12 to 3 – Sports Park)

Shop & Dine Lake Forest Week kicks-off on Sunday, September 17 at the Lake Forest Sports Park. This event will feature live entertainment, exciting games, awesome raffle prizes, and fun for all ages! Bring a receipt from a Lake Forest business dated September 17 and receive a raffle ticket (maximum of 20 receipts per person) for a chance to win one of many awesome prizes! Sept 20 – Leadership Academy (6:30 to 9 pm – City Hall)

Enroll in the fun and informative 2017 Leadership Academy. The in-depth seminar provides residents with an opportunity to learn about the inner workings of city government while developing the next generation of civic leaders and volunteers. Sept 24 – Taste of Lake Forest (12 to 4 pm – Town Centre)

This year's Shop & Dine Lake Forest Week will feature the 6th annual Taste of Lake Forest! Sample delicious food from over 20 participating vendors for only $10 and vote on both your favorite restaurant and best new entry. Enjoy live entertainment and participate in fun raffles for great prizes. Remember that voting ends at 3:00 p.m. don't forget to bring your stamped coupon booklet to the event and receive a raffle ticket for each stamp you received during Shop & Dine Lake Forest Week. Dr. Gardner has office hours every Tuesday from 4 pm to 6 pm at the City Hall. In addition, he holds a town hall meeting every quarter. The next meeting will be on December 2nd at 2 pm at the El Toro Public Library.
