Felony Charges Filed In Attempted Rape Of Tustin Woman
Felony charges were filed Monday against a 25-year-old Malibu man accused of attempting to rape a Tustin woman in her 60s.

SANTA ANA, CA — Felony charges were filed Monday against a 25-year-old Malibu man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 60s in Tustin.
Quin Kalis Sheridan was arrested Thursday on suspicion of attempted rape, kidnapping, sexual assault and elder abuse, according to Tustin police. Sheridan being held without bail in the jail courtroom of the Central Jail in Santa Ana.

Police were called at 9:37 a.m. Thursday to Robinson Drive regarding the attack.
Sheridan is accused of forcing the woman to the ground and attempting to pull her pants off, police said. The victim struggled and despite the suspect putting his hand over her mouth she managed to scream for help, police said.

Police said a witness dashed over to help the woman, shoving the suspect off of her and prompting him to run away.
Police found Sheridan nearby hiding in a restroom and he was taken into custody without incident, police said.
