Festival Of Arts Grant Awarded To Boys & Girls Club Of Laguna Beach
Teaching art at Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, with programs in Lake Forest & Mission Viejo, is made possible with the Festival of Arts.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA ā The Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach announced their award of a $6,000 grant from the Festival of Arts Foundation. During the club's 70th anniversary year, the grant will fund the club's arts program and make art even more available to every child in attendance, they said.
The Laguna Beach Boys & Girls Club serves kids from age 3- to 18-year-olds at three sites in Laguna Beach. They also serve young people from 5- to 13 years old in five sites in both the cities of Lake Forest and Mission Viejo. The arts grant will help purchase supplies and better fund the club's unique art programs.
"The organization believes that art and play create a healthy place in the learning and development of every child," said Kristie Anderson, spokesperson for the Boys & Girls Club. Imagination and creativity are vital components to increasing a child's full potential as they grow into thriving adults, according to Anderson.
