Fire Burns Near South OC Church; Man Arrested In Connection
One person was arrested after investigators found a brush fire was set intentionally Sunday near Saddleback Church in Lake Forest.
LAKE FOREST, CA — One person was arrested after Orange County investigators found a brush fire was intentionally set Sunday near Saddleback Church in Lake Forest.
The fire was reported around 12:59 p.m. in the area of Portola and Rancho parkways, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
The flames grew to 2.81 acres before firefighters extinguished it. The City of Lake Forest reported on social media that the blaze was burning near the local church.

After authorities found that the fire was set deliberately, the Orange County Sheriff's Department took one person into custody. That person's name or description was not released.
