Firefighters Battle Lake Forest Attic Blaze Overnight

A 911 call led firefighters to this Lake Forest home where smoke poured from attic vents late Thursday.

LAKE FOREST, CA — A neighbor's 911 call led Orange County Fire Authority firefighters to battle a blaze at a Lake Forst home Thursday night.

Firefighters arrived at the home just after 10 p.m. to find smoke pouring from attic vents, according to an OCFA spokesperson.

"Firefighters quickly confined the fire to just the attic and wall, saving the home," according to a report from the scene.

Nobody was injured, and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
