Firefighters Battle Poinsettia Street House Fire

Flames erupted from an Orange County home, Sunday, officials reported.

SANTA ANA, CA — A home was engulfed in flames, Sunday afternoon in Santa Ana. Arriving OCFA and area firefighters extinguished the structure fire in about half-an-hour, an Orange County Fire Authority captain said.

The fire broke out in the home located on the 1800 block of Poinsettia Street at about 2:35 p.m., OCFA Capt. Daryll Milliot said. Twenty-four firefighters arrived at the scene and the blaze was knocked down quickly.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
