Firefighters Douse Lake Forest House Fire
Orange County Fire Authority firefighters stayed at the scene until well after midnight to extinguish a house fire on Midcrest Drive.
LAKE FOREST, CA — A two-story Lake Forest home ignited late Saturday and it took firefighters just over two hours to extinguish the blaze, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
No one was injured in the firefight, they said.
Firefighters arrived at the home in the 21000 block of Midcrest Drive just before 10:30 p.m., an OCFA spokesperson reported over Twitter. They found both heavy smoke and flames pouring from the upper windows of the home, they said.

The extent of the damage to a Lake Forest home has not yet been released by the Orange County Fire Authority investigators.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
