Fundraiser For Uvalde Survivors Brings Dance, Culture To Orange County

Residents can be a part of a community fundraiser this Saturday to benefit the survivors of the Uvalde school shooting.

LAKE FOREST, CA — South Orange County residents can help lend support to the survivors of the Uvalde school shooting by participating in a fundraiser in Lake Forest this Saturday.

The fundraiser will feature authentic Indian music and dance, according to event organizer Nikita Ganatra, who told Patch she was moved to organize the fundraiser for the victims of the shooting because she works with children through her Kumon tutoring centers in Orange County.

The May 24 shooting claimed the lives of 21 elementary school students and teachers in Uvalde, Texas.
