Garage Fire Kills Dog In South OC: OCFA

LAKE FOREST, CA — Orange County firefighters were hard at work Monday, after a garage fire was reported in the City of Lake Forest.

The fire was reported shortly after noon in the 21000 block of Bellcroft Drive, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

Firefighters quickly isolated the fire to the garage and knocked down the flames in roughly 20 minutes.

Unfortunately, while no residents were found in the home, a dog that had been left inside of the home had perished as a result of the fire.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
