Good News Lake Forest! Now 12th safest city in new Crime Survey
Annual Safewise survey shows Lake Forest climbed 4 spots as 12th safest California city; 6 South Orange County cities in top 12
In the 2016 Safewise annual report of the “50 Safest Cities in California,” Lake Forest is rapidly approaching a top 10 position as the 12th safest California city.
Issued earlier this week using statistics from the recently published yearly FBI Crime Report, the annual ranking shows Lake Forest improved 4 positions in 2016 from being the 16th safest California city in 2015.
Safewise chose from over 550 California cities with populations over 10,000 residents to compile the 2016 list of “50 Safest Cities in California.”

It is notable that South Orange County cities of Dana Point and Laguna Beach did not make the list.
