Heat Advisory In Lake Forest, Beach Weather Along OC Coast

LAKE FOREST, CA — Another sweltering heat wave is headed to Orange County, and residents can expect scorching temperatures in inland Orange County and a return of summer beach weather along the coast.

The National Weather Service issued an Excessive Heat Watch from Monday through Wednesday for all inland Orange County cities, including Lake Forest.

In Lake Forest, temperatures will climb to 91 Saturday, and increase to 92 on Sunday and 93 on Monday, according to AccuWeather.

Moving into the week, Lake Forest residents can expect the heat wave to peak on Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures projected to reach 95 degrees, according to Accuweather.

On the coast, temperatures are projected to be cooler over the weekend. Coastal residents can expect temperatures ranging from the mid to high '80s, according to AccuWeather.

Residents are advised to drink plenty of water, avoid prolonged periods outdoors, and make sure to never leave pets or small children inside vehicles unattended.
