Help The Homeless This Holiday Season In Orange County
Here is how to help the Village of Hope residents in 2018. The group opened its first online Gift Catalog for donations to specific causes.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — The Orange County Rescue Mission has called on the local community to help deliver holiday cheer to the 193 formerly homeless men, women and children living at the Village of Hope. The Rescue Mission has announced an urgent need for holiday gift donations, which the children at the Village of Hope will give to their parents.
“This is a unique and tender time for the families living at the Village of Hope,” says Orange County Rescue Mission President, Jim Palmer. “This gift donation and exchange gives children the opportunity to experience the joy of giving by selecting holiday gifts for their parents – many for the very first time.”

The Rescue Mission has also announced its first holiday gift catalog, through which donors can contribute to a specific cause in someone’s honor and designate it as a holiday gift. The new gift catalog is accessible at https://catalog.rescuemission.org/.
“In honor of the season of giving, we wanted to provide community members with a way to give back specifically to the causes that most touch their hearts and a chance to gift their donation,” says Palmer. “This is a first for the Rescue Mission, and we hope the community will take this opportunity to spread additional joy this holiday season.”
Gift values in the catalog range from $8.00 to $450.00 and provide funding for a variety of programs offered at the Village of Hope including year-round school supplies for kids, safe shelter, and adult high school education, among others
