Hidden Gems Of Lake Forest Calendar Contest Still Open

LAKE FOREST, CA — Do you love visiting the "snow" every winter? Or is there a secret trail with a view that knocks your socks off, every time you see it? When you live in Orange County, and specifically in the lovely neighborhoods of Lake Forest, there is always a new treasure waiting to be found.

Ask Lake Forest.com is offering a chance for residents to share their secrets through photos and brief stories to share in the 2018 Lake Forest Hidden Gems Calendar. Do you have a secret you'd love to share with your neighbors?

"All skill levels are welcome," the city of Lake Forest said in release. "You just need a camera and the spirit of exploration."

The City of Lake Forest has invited residents to show off the Hidden Gems of Lake Forest. Capture a glimpse of the City’s hidden beauty whether it is a secret hiking trail, a beautiful vista, or a lovely locale.

Winning photos will be featured in the 2018 “Hidden Gems of Lake Forest” community calendar.

Deadline
Entries must be submitted at www.asklakeforest.com or emailed to shunter@lakeforestca.gov before Monday, October 16, 2017.

• Rules and Guidelines
• Photos must be submitted in horizontal orientation.
• There is no payment or fee required to submit a photo.
• The entrant must be the photographer of the photo entered.
• Digital photos should be in JPEG format (high resolution) and be a maximum of 1 MB.

Entrants will be required to provide the location of the photo and name any identifiable persons appearing in their photo, and confirm that the identifiable persons have given consent to having their picture taken and entered into the contest with all “Rights and Use” conditions applying.

If photos include minors, signed parental consent forms are required.

Submission Requirements

• Photographer’s full name
• Email address
• Description of each photo, including location or event

Winners
Winning photos will be selected by the City’s Park and Recreation Commissioners with winners recognized at a future Commission meeting.
