With the theme “Keep Looking Up,” Denise Sprimont of Foothill Ranch was installed as Worthy Advisor of Infinity Assembly of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls in Lake Forest, on June 1, 2013. Sprimont will lead her core of officers for a four-month term during which she plans numerous service and fun projects. The members will raise money for a charity called, Pure Game -- a program that uses soccer to reach at risk youth and teach them how to set goals to succeed in life. The Rainbow girls also plan to attend a leadership camp; and hold a mystery dinner, food drive, beach party, and car wash. They also are planning fun trips traveling through California visiting other Rainbow assemblies.
“Rainbow has brought to me some of my closest friends,” said Sprimont. “It has also given me a sense of courage and hope.” Sprimont joined Rainbow in 2009 when she was eleven-years-old. She is the recipient of the assembly’s Friendship Award and received first place in the ritual contest for her age at the Annual Rainbow Convention in the Spring.
The daughter of Tom and DeEtte Sprimont of Foothill Ranch, Sprimont is being classically educated through Saddleback Christian Academy and plans completion in 2016. A member of the Southern California Children’s Chorus, she recently performed with the Pacific Choral under the direction of John Alexander. Sprimont excels on a speech and debate team called SCARLET (Saddleback Christian Academy Rhetorical Leaders Espousing Truth) where she was invited to the National Tournament of Champions through STOA. She also received an academic silver medal award on the National Mythology Exam -- focusing on ancient history and mythology. Sprimont also competes on a swim team, likes to bake, sing and spend time with friends.
