June in Lake Forest

Here's what's happening in our city in June

Jun 2 and 3 – Dino Days (10 am to 2 pm – Nature Park)

This is a great family fun day. Experience the Nature Park as it transforms into adventurous "Dino Days!" There will a walking DINO tour of a life-size moving T-Rex, Velociraptors and a Dilophosaurus. Wristband includes dinosaur tour, arts and crafts, face painting, balloon artist and unlimited games. Ages two years old and over require a wristband to participate in dino tour and activities. Music and entertainment are free.

Jun 4 – Parade Committee (6 pm to 7 pm Sports Park)

It’s not too late to get involved. Come by and help shape the 2018 4th of July Parade.

Jun 8 – Career Workshop (8:30 to 11:30 – Sports Park)

Looking for a job? Want to see what’s out there? There were be dozens of employers and they might be looking for you.

Jun 9 – Relay for Life (9:00 am – Mission Viejo)

Jun 11 - Special Needs Committee (6:30 pm - Y-Tel)

This is the first meeting of the ad hoc committee that is going to review our programs and services for people with special needs.

Jun 13 – General Plan workshop 2 (6:30, City Hall)

The second of three workshops to gather public input on the first comprehensive update of the City's General Plan, which sets policies and guidelines for future growth. Youi can participate in person on using Facebook Live. Judging from our first workshop, being there in person will probably be more valuable.

Jun 13 - Lake Forest Farmer’s Market (4:30 to 7 pm, Sports Park)

Free for vendors and participants alike. Booths are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and limited to one of each type of vendor to ensure variety. Homemade and local business and produce are preferred.

Jun 15 – Movies in the Park (7:30 to 10 pm, Sports Park)

Come with the kids and enjoy “The Lorax”.

Come join the First Responders Grab and Go support team.

Jun 24 – Concert in the Park (5:30 to 8:30 pm, Sports Park)

Join us for three show-stopping bands that will make you want to dance all night long! "Crowd Theory," "The Reflexx" and "Aeromyth" will be preforming.
