Just Around The Bend: Orange County's Photo Of The Week

Patch loves photos! Share your photos with Patch and your work could be featured.

From the promise of a sunset to the sprawl of the shoreline in the early dawn, this is Orange County, and we love sharing your pictures on Patch.

This week, Patch reader Brian Renden of Lake Forest captured this glorious photo while strolling along Aliso Creek State Beach.

"It was 7:45 in the morning," he told us. The view, the light and the early morning captured his attention, and it captured ours, too.

It's Your Shot: Pictures You Take and We Share

It seems everyone's a photographer these days. Cell phones capture amazing images. True DSLR cameras render detail that almost looks surreal. We got to thinking. Why not share the pictures we receive, and see elsewhere, with you?

Have you got the next incredible photo? If you have an awesome photo of nature, breathtaking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny or something unusual you happen to catch, we'd love to feature it on Patch. We're looking for high-resolution images that reflect the beauty that is Orange County, and that show off your unique talents.

So, bring 'em on. No selfies. Not here.

Send your photos to autumn.johnson@patch.com and we'll post the feature on an occasional basis.

Or-- post it for free in our bulletin board section on the site, by signing up at my.patch.com and we'll feature it up top. Be sure to also include when and where the shot was taken and any other details about what was going on
