KX 93.5 FM Offering Summer Radio Camp to Local Youth
Students to learn radio broadcasting, production, podcasting; Will get to host their own live show

LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. – This summer, KX 93.5 FM, the local radio broadcast station in Laguna Beach, is offering radio camp for youth. Taught by Jason Feddy, morning host to Daily Scramble Live, and KX 93.5 staff, students will get to learn the radio business including audio production, podcasting and news. At the end of the two-week camp, students will get to host their own live show.
“This is an amazing opportunity for any youth who has an interest in music, radio or podcasting,” said Tyler Russell, KX 93.5 Founder and Station Manager. “They’ll get to go in-studio and learn how to produce their own show and then host it live.”
Two camps are currently available:- Session 1: 7/10-7/21 (Ages 11-13) - $195 (9:30-12:30, Monday-Thursday)
- Session 2: 7/24-8/4 (Ages 14-18) - $195 (9:30-12:30, Monday-Thursday)
