Lake Forest Burglary Pursuit Ends With Sheriff Search At Regional Park

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Two burglary suspects were arrested on Wednesday after leading authorities on a car pursuit through Lake Forest that ended in Santiago Oaks Regional Park in Orange, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.

The two suspects were arrested with the help of K-9 partners, and officers with the Huntington Beach and Orange police departments. The identities of the suspects were not released.

As of 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, OC Sheriff deputies and officers from the City of Orange Police Department were searching the regional park for the two suspects.

According to authorities, one suspect was dressed in all-black and another suspect was dressed wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.

Residents were asked to steer clear of the area while deputies search.

No further information was released regarding the burglary or the pursuit, and calls to the Orange County Sheriff's Department were not immediately returned.
