LAKE FOREST, CA — Ready to break out the Halloween costumes, Lake Forest? If not, then get ready. The annual Monster Mash Halloween Dance is coming soon to a civic center near you, and is designed to bring all of the fun and fear for one hauntingly great night.

Fernandez, who has been organizing the Halloween dance for four years now, said this will be the first dance in over a year due to COVID-19 pandemic precautions.
"The best part about coordinating these dances is looking out over the crowd and seeing a sea of smiling faces," Fernandez said. "I know that might sound like a cheesy answer, but for many members of the special needs community this is a huge part of their social life. At the end of the day, seeing how much joy and laughter comes from an event is what makes all the hard work worth it."
