Lake Forest lags Behind Top 500 High Schools
Many of our neighbors make the list, but El Toro HS does not.
In the list of the nation’s top 500 high schools, Lake Forest doesn’t appear. Aliso Viejo comes in at #252 and Mission Viejo comes in with #335. Our neighbor Irvine scores with #25, #57, #69, and #295. Other OC cities with top high schools include Newport Beach (#100), Huntington Beach (#346, #475), and San Clemente (#403).
With School Board elections coming up in November you’ll want to ask the candidates what they intend to do to improve the standing of El Toro High School. If our neighbors are able to attain top 500 scores, why can’t we?
