Lake Forest Man ID'd In Fatal Motorcycle Crash

LAKE FOREST, CA — A 63-year-old motorcyclist killed on Wednesday morning in a fatal collision with a car in Costa Mesa was identified Thursday, according to Roxy Fyad of the Costa Mesa Police Department.

The crash occurred about 8:50 a.m. Wednesday on Airway Avenue near Lear Avenue, Fyad said.

Eugene Flaro of Lake Forest died at the scene, the Orange County coroner's office reported.

According to police, Flaro was riding on Airway Avenue when his motorcycle collided with a BMW sedan.

The driver of the BMW remained at the scene and cooperated with police, Fyad said.
