Lake Forest Neighbors Credited For Preventing House Fire Injuries
A two-story home on Tizmin caught fire and neighbors were able to alert the residents of the blaze and allow them and a dog to escape.
LAKE FOREST, CA – Some Lake Forest residents are being credited for looking out for their neighbors this week after they spared occupants of a house injury when the residence caught fire.
The Orange County Fire Authority reported on Wednesday that a two-story home on Tizmin caught fire, starting in the garage. With the garage fully engulfed, neighbors called 911 and pounded on the door of the home to alert residents of the fire.

Neighbors are being credited with getting the home’s occupants and their dog out of the home and then carried another resident – who had escaped to the back yard of the home – to safety by carrying that person on their shoulders to the front yard.
