Lake Forest Officer Honored
Lake Forest resident and Deputy Sheriff Adam Koliha honored for third time
Lake Forest was honored at the Orange County Sheriff’s Department 29th Medal of Valor luncheon. Adam Koliha was one of only a handful of Police to receive an award. For Koliha is was for saving the life of a 53 year old man who suffered a heart attack. This was Adam’s third medal from the Department. In 2008 he received the Medal of Courage and in 2012 he received a Medal of Lifesaving.
Adam Koliha is a former Marine and was stationed at El Toro. He joined the Sheriff’s Department in 1977. He lives in Lake Forest with his wife Wendy and their three children.
Adam is pictured along with Councilman Robinson and Mayor Pro Tem Basile to his right, and Councilman Gardner and Police Chief Valentine to his left.
