Lake Forest Woman Killed By Dump Truck
A dump truck crashed into a woman, killing her early Tuesday, Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.
LAKE FOREST, CA — Tragedy struck a corner of Lake Forest early Tuesday morning, when a woman was struck by a passing dump truck, Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.
"The victim, adult female whose name was not released, was at or near the crosswalk when she was struck by the 18-wheeler," OCSD information officer Ray Grangoff said.
The driver did remain at the scene and has cooperated fully with authorities, according to Grangoff.

The intersection at Ridgeline Road and Saddleback Ranch Road was closed most of the day, after the fatal collision, re-opening to traffic at just before 2:30 p.m.
No arrests were made.
