Large Tree Falls On South OC Apartment Building, Displacing Residents

LAKE FOREST, CA — A large tree fell on an apartment complex in Lake Forest, displacing about a dozen residents, The Orange County Register reported.

The tree fell around 10:30 a.m. on the complex in the 2100 block of Lake Vista Drive, the report said. At least three units were damaged, though the extent of damage was not immediately known.

The collapse of the tree was likely caused by gusty Santa Ana winds Thursday, the report said. No injuries were reported.
