LePort Montessori Students Donate $800 Worth of Food to Local Families

Students held a food drive to benefit a local nonprofit community center

Students at LePort Montessori Spectrum North in Irvine recently held a food drive to benefit South County Outreach, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing community members in need with affordable housing and food. Throughout November and December, students collected more than $800 worth of nonperishable food items, including canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, pasta, peanut butter and more. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping others in their communities, especially during the holiday season.
