Man Stabbed In South OC Home: Police

IRVINE, CA — Authorities Tuesday were investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in a home in Irvine.

Irvine police officers were dispatched at 6:21 a.m. to a single-family home at Fortuna East and Park Place, Irvine police reported.

Multiple people live in the home and detectives were interviewing them, Irvine police Sgt. Karie Davies told City News Service.

In addition, one person was detained at the scene. That person's identity was not released.

Police did not release any further details.
