This week the Mayor's Minute looks at the re-dedication of Heroes Park and the 911 Remembrance.
Heroes Park took place on Sunday (See Photo). Representative Mimi Walters, Col. Tom Cagley, and UnderSheriff Don Barnes spoke. City Manager Debra Rose was the MC and I welcomed more than 100 guests. Also present was the entire Council, Commissioners Sonny Morper, Jim Rosenberg, Loretta Herrin, and Victor Scheer.
911 Remembrance took place on Tuesday. Mayor Pro Tem participated at the Fire Station in Portola Hills and I was at El Toro. Vector Control Representative Bob Holtzclaw and Commissioner Loretta Herrin were in attendance.

- Our mobile app "Shop and Dine Lake Forest" continues to be updated and soon we'll have an "iCity" mobile app that will allow you to communicate your concerns directly from your phone.
- We started a series of Mayor's Councils that gather together stakeholders (e.g., HOAs, business owners) with city staff and elected officials so that we can problem solve together.
No City does more to inform and involve our residents, and we will continue to improve.
