New Goodwill Donation Site Opens In South OC: What To Know
The new site is the latest step in Goodwill's plan to double its impact across Orange County over the next 10 years.

IRVINE, CA — A new Goodwill Donation Center has opened up in South Orange County as a part of the nonprofit's commitment to double its impact and footprint across the county over the next 10 years.
The new Goodwill Donation Center is located in the parking area of Irvine United Congregational Church and was celebrated Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“Donations are the lifeblood of our organization; they provide the fuel for our mission work to connect people with meaningful career opportunities,” Nicole Suydam, President and CEO, Goodwill of Orange County, told Patch. “We are proud to be back in the city of Irvine and look forward to building deeper relationships with the many generous donors in the community.”

The donation site will accept gently used goods on Friday and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the nonprofit.
The Irvine United Congregational Church is located at 4915 Alton Pkwy.
