New Goodwill Donation Site Opens In South OC: What To Know
The new site is the latest step in Goodwill's plan to double its impact across Orange County over the next 10 years.

LAKE FOREST, CA — A new Goodwill Donation Center has opened up in South Orange County as a part of the nonprofit's commitment to double its impact and footprint across the county over the next 10 years.
The new Goodwill Donation Center is located in Sycamore Plaza at the corner of Trabuco Road and El Toro Road.

“Donations are the lifeblood of our organization; they provide the fuel for our mission work to connect people with meaningful career opportunities,” Nicole Suydam, President and CEO, Goodwill of Orange County, told Patch. “We are proud to reestablish this donation site here in Lake Forest and give the many generous donors in the community and surrounding areas another easy location to make their donations.”

The new location celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Lake Forest officials, county officials and community members.

The donation center opening follows two recent grand openings for Goodwill Orange County, including its 25th thrift store location in Fountain Valley and a donation site in Irvine that both opened in April.

Residents can visit the new Goodwill of Orange County Lake Forest Donation Center at 222351 El Toro Road, behind the Stater Bros. Markets. The store is open Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
